Some people think that all you have to do to take care of
a pool or spa is to periodically clean it and add chemicals.
Unfortunately, it is not that easy. In order to keep your pool or
hot tub in top-notch condition, there is certain
maintenance and repair work involved. For
instance, the average life of plaster is 12 -15 yrs.,
depending on how well your chemicals have been maintained.
You may have discoloration, surface cracking, or any number of
problems with your plaster. The solution may be as simple as
an acid wash. This can be effective to
remove any calcium (white) deposits on your plaster and tile.
If you have a very rough, etched plaster which is no longer smooth,
it may be time for resurfacing. We
offer all of the standard resurfacing options as well as
special surfaces such as Diamond Brite, River Rock, and
Pebble Tec. Your tile and coping
may be outdated, your deck-o-seal joint may need to be
replaced. Today's equipment is better at
circulating and filtering your water, and is much more
energy efficient. And remember, even a slow
leak at your equipment can ruin
